John and Freda (nee Ashwell) Kinton, celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on 11th June.

John and Freda first met when Freda moved from Cosby to Glenfield in 1956 and got married at St Peters Church, Glenfield in 1960.

John had always worked as a builder until he retired in 2007. They have five children; Sharon, Angela, John, Peter and Sarah, 6
grandchildren and this year on 23rd April they became the proud great grandparents of their first great grandson George. Nobody could have wished for better parents.
